April 17 was a starry night in New York City, as nearly 1,200 guests came out for Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List party at Mansion, the new nightclub of the moment. Where better to celebrate the May Hot List issue, the magazine’s annual guide to the most sizzling new hotels, restaurants, spas, and nightspots around the world? DJ Lady Miss Kier (of Deee-Lite) set the groove for a stellar crowd that included Ashlee Simpson, Adrien Brody, Joan Allen, and a host of travel and luxury industry VIPs.
